I’ve talked before about using Color Street nail polish strips to do unique nail art designs.
So now let's talk about layering and/or doubling up the strips as another way to create a different look.
Most of the designs in the glitter collection have dense, beautiful glitter. I love this about the glitters as it is hard to get that density with traditional polish without applying multiple layers. However, some of our glitters have a translucency to them that creates a softer look.
So what are you to do if you love the color of the translucent glitter design but you also really like to have your glitter bold and dense? Well, you get creative and double up the strips!
This allows not only for the color to become richer but the for the glitter to become that dense, full-blast of sparkle that you love!
Have a favorite color but wish it had a little more pizazz? Maybe, you aren't so sure about the subtleness or tone of the color you applied. Not a problem, using Color Street's translucent glitters you can add a layer of sparkle to create a new look for any color. Just simply apply it over the top of your solid color strip to easily add that sparkle that you want. I have done this both as a full cover of the color and as a glittery addition to the tip of a nail for a sparkly French tip design (see this post for how to make your own French tips using any Color Street strip).
See below for the way to get the best results when doubling up or layering your strips.
